Raised in the Township and a graduate of Cherry Hill High Schools, Council President Fleisher is a longtime Cherry Hill resident. Committed to community leadership from a young age, Councilman Fleisher was the youngest citizen ever elected to Council when he began his first term in 1997 at the age of 27. Dave and his wife Jennifer reside in the Siena neighborhood with their three children, and are active in the Stockton School, Rosa Middle School and Beck Middle School PTAs. The Councilman is a graduate of Ithaca College with a BS in Finance and has served on the institution’s Board of Trustees for a decade. He is a financial services executive with expertise in planning and finance, and frequent financial commentator for local and national media. Dave is active in our community and has previously served as an advisory board member of Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Southern New Jersey, a volunteer with Cherry Hill Atlantic Little League, and as a member of the State of New Jersey’s Government Records Council, which ensures transparency in government statewide.
Carole has dedicated her life to our community’s children as an English teacher and the Student Activities Coordinator at Cherry Hill High School West. Roskoph, a graduate of West, holds a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and a master’s degree from George Washington University. She has served as a member of the Cherry Valley Civic Association, the Cherry Valley Park Planning Committee, Cherry Hill Sustainable Schools, the PTA, and previously served as Chair of the Cherry Hill Township Planning Board. She currently serves on the Cherry Hill Human Relations Committee and is a passionate supporter of the arts in Cherry Hill. Three generations of the Roskophs live in Cherry Hill: Carole, her son, Zane, and her parents, Margaret and Jim, a 23-year Navy veteran.
Carolyn Jacobs has been a resident of the Township's Point of Woods neighborhood for 44 years. She and her late husband, Eric have two daughters who are graduates of Cherry Hill High School East, one of whom is now a teacher at Carusi Middle School. Her professional experience includes programming, project management and account management. She retired from IBM in 2011. Carolyn now devotes her time to community service and volunteer activities, which include working as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children who have been removed from their homes in cases of neglect or abuse, and reading with at-risk youth as part of the BookMates literacy program. She now serves on the BookMates Steering Committee. She is also a volunteer with the Goodwin Holocaust Museum and Education Center's (GHMEC) school reading program. She serves as President of the Ramblewood Country Club ladies golf league and chairs several programs as a member of the Board of Directors of Temple Beth Sholom.
The newest member of the Cahn Team for Council is Sangeeta Doshi. Sangeeta has been a resident of Cherry Hill for twenty-one years. She lives in the Short Hills neighborhood with her husband, Nilesh and three sons. Sangeeta graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and then earned an MBA at Babson College. She has been active volunteer on the Township Planning and Zoning Boards. Sangeeta has served on the Domestic Violence Response Team, a group dedicated to addressing issues around the prevention and response to domestic violence. She has also been a volunteer in youth athletic associations throughout the Township. Sangeeta is an active member of the Indian cultural center and temple association. Currently, she is focusing on raising her family and volunteering in the community. As a professional, she has worked for companies such as Sprint, PCS and Comcast in the telecommunications sector. She was also a small business owner with her own consulting company.
